Overcoming Giants!

Sometimes in life, things happen that we just don’t understand. No matter how we think about it, we just cannot wrap our minds around it.

At times, it can seem as if the struggles we face are impossible for us to overcome or as if we just aren’t strong enough to weather the storms of life.

Things can happen in an instant that we never expected, like the sudden death of a loved one or a tragic accident or sickness that leaves us or a loved one with lifelong difficulties.

Life can be full of challenges and obstacles that can sometimes overwhelm us, but thanks be to God that we do not have to face the giants of life alone.

Our struggles, hardships, obstacles, and problems are our giants.

While these situations can seem overwhelming, we have an Almighty God who will never leave us nor forsake us in our times of need.

“He will call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him.”

Psalm 91: 16

The Bible gives us great assurance that when we call out to Him, he hears us!

Psalm 46 says that God is our refuge and our very present help in our time of trouble. When you are facing the giants of life, take it to the Lord and trust in Him to see you through!

“For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. 5 Who is the one who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?”

1 John 5: 4

God Wants to Tell You Something🙌

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change and though the mountains slip into the heart of the sea; 3 though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains quake at its swelling pride…7 The LORD of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our stronghold.”

Psalm 46: 1-3 & 7

Today, someone is reading this and thinking that all hope is lost…my friend, if that is you, God is reminding you of the hope of your salvation!

I give thanks to God today, for I know that He is with us no matter what we face.

God is our rock and our fortress from the storms of life.

The Bible tells us that those who place their hope in Christ will not be disappointed.

People may fail us and disappoint us, but God is always there for us.

Friend, if you place your trust in Jesus, you won’t be let down!

“For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8: 38-39
