Teaching: The Devil Wants You to Forget

The Devil, is constantly at work trying to make us forget about God's love.

He wants to distract us from the truth and lead us into darkness, for his goal is to steal our joy, kill our faith, and destroy our relationship with God.

God's love for us is immeasurable and unconditional. It is the driving force behind His plan for our salvation and the ultimate expression of His goodness (Romans 5:8).

The devil knows that when we are rooted in God's love, we become resilient and unshakeable in our faith.

This is precisely why he wants us to forget about it.

When we focus on God's love, we are reminded of the immense sacrifice Jesus made for us on the cross. This love is the foundation of our faith, and it empowers us to overcome the enemy's schemes (1 John 4:4).

In Ephesians 6:11, we are instructed to "Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes."

One piece of this armor is knowing and understanding God's love for us. It is our shield against the enemy's lies and our source of strength in difficult times.

Stay strong in faith and remember that God's love is the ultimate weapon against the enemy's deceit.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your boundless love and the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ.

We humbly ask You to deepen our understanding of Your love and strengthen our faith to resist the enemy's schemes.

Lord, may the power of Your love transform us, making us steadfast witnesses of Your divine presence. Guide us to embody this lesson in our daily lives and to share it with others.

We offer this prayer in the sacred name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen. 🤲

Community Story 📖: It’s All Real

I don't believe God is real. I don't believe God in the flesh came to earth to spread the truth, die on the cross to cover our sins so that we would be forgiven our debt, and I don't believe we received His Holy Spirit and are now one with God, connected to Him, forever moving forward.

I know, without a shadow of a doubt, that all of that is true.

This is all real. It's not a fairy tale. I have no clue why He did what He did for me to make it more than a belief, but "woah" is the word. A constant "woah.".

Everything about Him in the Gospel is true. It all really happened, and Jesus Christ is who He said He is.

How could I not share that with everyone?

What kind of monster would I be to know these truths and not speak of them daily? I continue on out of love for you. If you are reading this, I love you.

I mean that. If you have ever wondered if anyone has ever said I love you to you and actually meant it, you are hearing it now—a love defined by Jesus Christ Himself.
